Comparison of Leash rings
We will make an attempt to compare the incomparable and tell you more about our leash rings.
Compared to standard rings there is no pulling force which affects the ZERO ring under load. A standard ring is just a force transferring element but the ZERO ring is something more; it is designed to distribute forces better than any other ring. ZERO is primarily a support for the leash rope and serves as intermediate rigid element by separating the leash rope from the webbing.
The rope fits into the ring’s U-shaped channel, in other words around the ring rather that through and therefore eliminating direct contact with the webbing. This protects both the ring, the webbing and the leash rope and decreases stress in all elements.
ZERO design achieves the incredible weight of just under 80g! This is less than half the weight of the lightest steel ring on the market.
The inner diameter of the ring is dedicated to the webbing and backup rope only. The increased effective inner diameter (inner diameter minus rope diameter) allows smooth and safe movement on the webbing.
ZERO has four two times bigger contact area with the webbing compare to other leash rings.
With Zero you don’t need to use two rings for bigger surface contact as you would do with standard rings.

And last but not least – the ZERO ring does not just distribute forces better than any other ring, but is also less exposed to the high loads. Thanks to the smart design there are no pulling forces on the ring. Its role is just to be a support instead of carrying the whole weight of the falls.
